Kaduna AGILE Team Shines at AGILE GAMES 2025, Securing Five Gold Medals.

The Kaduna State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) team has demonstrated exceptional talent and academic prowess at the just concluded AGILE GAMES 2025, bringing home an impressive top spots across five categories. The team excelled across eight contested categories, showcasing the significant impact of the AGILE project in the state.

The AGILE GAMES 2025, a national event celebrating the multifaceted talents of students in AGILE participating states, saw the Kaduna contingent achieve top honors in the following categories:

Poetry Out Loud: Michael Destiny of Kaduna State captivated the judges with a stellar performance, earning the first position in this highly competitive category.

Painting: The artistic ingenuity of Zuhair Umar from Kaduna State was recognized with a winning spot, highlighting his exceptional talent in the visual arts.

Debate: The formidable Kaduna State debate team, comprising Success Eliminian, Amatuar Obeisance and Favour Jacob showcased outstanding eloquence and critical thinking, securing the coveted first place.

Female Basketball: Demonstrating remarkable teamwork and skill, the Kaduna State Girls’ Basketball team triumphed, clinching the gold medal in a thrilling and keenly contested competition coming from 1 point down and beating Ekiti with a 2point basket  with 3 seconds left on the clock.

Spelling Bee: The state team comprising Blessing Temilade Ade and Smuel Ephraim displayed exceptional lexicographical skills to emerge AGILE games Spelling Bee National champions.

These victories underscore the commitment of the Senator Uba Sani led administration to fostering not only academic excellence but also empowering young girls and boys in various artistic and sporting disciplines. The success at the AGILE GAMES 2025 is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, their coaches, and the entire Kaduna AGILE team.
