The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project, Kaduna State signed contract with the Center for Girls Education (CGE), Zaria for the facilitation of safe spaces training in 125 schools under the AGILE Project in Phase 1.
The engagement will entail the development of a life skills training program curriculum that will cover four main modules:
Life skills key topics (for example, conflict resolution, self-determination, confidence, negotiations and leadership);
Health awareness (e.g., basic health promotion, nutrition, reproductive health, basic hygiene, menstrual hygiene management [MHM];
GBV/SEA/SH awareness, mitigation and response, including safe reporting channels in the school and community and linkages to a referral system for quality support services; and;
Climate change (including awareness-raising and climate change adaptation approaches and skills).
