Governor Uba Sani commissions the renovation of GGSS Kawo Kaduna
adminHis Excellency Governor Mallam, Senator Uba Sani the Executive , Kaduna State has commissioned the newly constructed/renovated hostels and classrooms at GGSS Kawo, Kaduna.
The project includes both renovation of burnt hostel and the construction of new classrooms, labs, and toilets as summarized below:
- Renovation of 8 blocks of 16 classrooms with 18 offices
- Construction of 2 Blocks of 4 Classrooms with 2 Offices
- Construction of 6 Blocks of 42 Water Systems Toilets
- Provision of 400Pcs of 2 Sitter Desk Furniture
- Rehabilitation of 150 Pcs of 2 Sitter Desk
- Construction of 4 Solar Powered Borehole
- Rehabilitation of 3 Existing Boreholes and provision of Overhead Water Tank
- Construction of 1500m Drainage with 15 Culverts
- Reconstruction of 1770m Perimeter Fence wall Complete with Barb wire Protection
- Soft Landscaping (Including Planting of Trees along entire Fence Perimeter, Hedges and Flowers in school Premise
- Construction of Flag Stand
- Planting of 300 Economic Trees (Oranges, Mangoes, Cashew, Pawpaw) as School Orchard
- Construction of 1 Block of Hostel with a Bedding Capacity of 300
- Renovation of Block of 6 Classrooms (SS3 Block)
- Renovation of 1 Hostel Block (Emotan House)
- Renovation of 1 School Hall Block
- Renovation of Administrative Offices Block
- Renovation of Staff Office/G&C Building
