Clifford House at Barewa College Zaria Undergoes Massive Renovation
adminThe Commissioner of Education, Professor Muhammad Sani Bello, Mainan Zazzau, spearheaded the commissioning of massive renovation at Barewa College Zaria on behalf of His Excellency, the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Mallam Uba Sani on the 1st of September 2023.
The scope of this ambitious rehabilitation project encompassed several critical areas:
- Renovation of Burnt Hostel Section and Construction of a New 1-Storey Hostel Block:
- The burnt hostel section has been meticulously restored to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for students.
- A brand-new, state-of-the-art 1-storey hostel block has been constructed, providing modern and improved accommodations for students.
- Renovation of the School Hall and Administrative Block:
- The school hall and administrative block have received much-needed renovation, enhancing the facilities for educational and administrative activities.
- Construction of 7 Blocks of 42 Water System Toilets:
- Seven blocks of modern water system toilets have been constructed, promoting hygiene and convenience within the college.
- Renovation of 72 Toilets & Bathrooms for Existing Hostels:
- Existing hostels have been revitalized with the renovation of 72 toilets and bathrooms, ensuring the comfort of students.
- Rehabilitation of Water Supply Reticulation System:
- The water supply reticulation system has undergone rehabilitation, ensuring a consistent and reliable water supply for the college.
- Rehabilitation of Fives Court & Car Porch:
The Fives Court and car porch have been rehabilitated, enhancing recreational and parking facilities within the college premises.
These extensive improvements reflect the commitment of the Kaduna State government to providing a conducive and modern learning environment for the students of Barewa College Zaria. The Commissioner assured the public of the Governors’ commitment towards uplifting the infrastructural needs of schools and colleges in Kaduna State.
