The Adolescent Girls Initiative For Learning and Empowerment, Kaduna State, (AGILE) Project team led by Mrs. Hadiza Hayatuddeen, Social Norms and Advocacy component lead was at GSS Narayi Senior to witness the colorful cultural celebration organized by the school.
Students, Community Members, Teachers, and the District Head of Narayi together with His council graced the event. Activities included different cultural displays to appreciate the diversity of student in the school. The school appreciated the intervention brought by AGILE and urged the project for more.
The event was organized by Mrs. Halima Gambo, a women leader from the Community and among the women supporting the project in awareness creation on the importance of educating adolescent girls.
GSS Narayi is among the beneficiaries of the AGILE School Improvement Grants (SIG) which the School Based Management Committees (SBMC) utilized to provide furniture and WASH facilities in both the Junior and Senior sections.
